Presenter's Short Biography

The three of us teach PK-4th grade musicians in Mustang and are passionate about helping young learners develop a lifelong love of music. Beyond the classroom, we lead after-school choirs, serve in leadership roles within our schools, district or state, and have completed extensive professional training in Kodály, Orff or World Music Drumming. With more than 40 years of combined teaching experience, we bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm to music education.

Session TitleUke Can Teach the Ukulele…Don’t Fret!
Session Description

Have you ever wanted to teach the ukulele? Come and discover the joy of making music with your upper elementary students and the ukulele! We will cover the fundamentals, what’s worked in our classrooms and spend time jamming out together. No previous experience required. *If you have a ukulele and want to bring it, fabulous! If not, a limited quantity will be provided.
