OkMEA President’s Award
This honor is to recognize an individual who has made a career of outstanding contribution(s) to the field of music education.This individual(s) does not qualify for any OkMEA Honors Awards that are presently given, but has made considerable, longstanding and viable contributions to OkMEA. The recipients(s) for this award are nominated and voted on by the OkMEA Executive Board members. This recognition may or may not be a yearly award.

Honors Nomination Information
To submit a nominee, please complete the form by September 15. The Awards and Recognition committee will meet to choose the recipients from the qualifying nominations. The committee will recommend their choices to the OkMEA executive board at their October meeting for final approval. After selection, the laureate must provide, before October 15, a picture and short professional biography to the Editor of Oklahoma Music.
