Session Description

School bands, orchestras, and choirs thrive when every student feels invited to participate, contribute, and belong. This interactive session explores practical strategies for expanding participation and creating pathways for more students to engage in meaningful music-making. Participants will experience approaches that help students sing, play, create, and connect more deeply with music and one another. Together, we will examine how intentional choices in culture, access, process, and repertoire can build more inclusive ensembles and support joyful, successful music-making from elementary school through graduation.
