| Presenter's Short Biography | Bryson Tarbet is an experienced educator and instructional coach who transitioned from a career as a PreK–6th grade general music teacher to a full-time role dedicated to supporting music educators. With a Bachelor’s from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master’s with a Kodály emphasis from Capital University, Bryson’s pedagogy is deeply rooted in high-level musical instruction. His career trajectory was reshaped by a transformative year on an elementary intervention team, where he discovered a profound passion for supporting students with disabilities. Today, Bryson draws on his personal journey as a neurodiverse individual as well as his classroom experience to guide every aspect of his work. This lived experience serves as the heartbeat of the professional impact he strives to provide, ensuring sensory and emotional inclusion remain at the forefront of his mission to help teachers cultivate classrooms that honor the diverse needs of every student. |

| Session Description | Every student needs different tools to help them succeed in the music classroom. Music teachers are in the unique position of working with hundreds of students each week, which means creating multiple learning processes and adaptive materials with limited planning time. This session will provide a practical toolkit of music-teaching strategies, from alternative notation to digital tools, designed to support and scaffold participation, while streamlining lesson planning for teachers. Participants will leave the session with foundational strategies they can adapt and adjust to meet the unique needs of their students. |
