**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the pastoral team by meeting weekly, either in person or virtually, to review and plan music for the service.

- Manage the monthly song selection, ensuring all hymns align with our liturgical order:

- Hymn of Praise following the Call to Worship and Prayer of Intercession

- Hymn of Redemption following the Confession of Sin and Pardon

- Gloria Patri following the offering

- Hymn during the Lord’s Supper

- Closing Hymn of Response

- Doxology following the Benediction

- Schedule and lead practices as needed for musicians and singers.

- Engage, recruit, and prepare other musicians to participate in services by providing music and practice support.

- Plan for 4-6 Sundays off per year.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in leading music in a church or worship setting.

- Proficiency in reading music and familiarity with traditional hymns, modern hymns, and psalms.

- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage practices and coordinate with musicians.

- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and members.

- A believer in Jesus Christ enthusiastic about helping a new church grow.
