Liberty Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Band Instructor to lead and grow a comprehensive instrumental music program for students in grades 5 through 12. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music, build strong foundational skills in younger students, and develop advanced musicianship and performance excellence at the secondary level.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
Valid state teaching certification in Instrumental Music (or ability to obtain)
Strong knowledge of instrumental pedagogy across a variety of instruments
Effective classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
Experience teaching band at multiple grade levels (elementary through high school)
Experience with marching band, jazz band, or other ensembles
Demonstrated success in growing and sustaining a band program
