During her tenure at NHS, she taught 128 All-OMEA chorus students; had a women's choir, mixed chorus and 2 different show choirs chosen as honor groups for the OMEA Convention; her choirs received 2 Grand Championships at Opryland, USA; her mixed chorus, girls' choir, jazz and show choirs all were named Outstanding groups at the Heritage Music Festival in San Antonio, TX. Her choirs won best in class awards at Six Flags Over Mid-America in St. Louis, MO. And her girls' choir achieved the first perfect score in the history of the festival at Baseball Music Festival in Orlando, FL.

Sings in First Christian Church Choir under the director of Dr. Steven Curtis; has an active voice studio; is currently an adjudicator of choral contests in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.

Hobbies: ceramics, reading, scrap-booking and gardening
