For twenty-eight years the choirs consistently received Superior Ratings in both Performance and Sight-Reading. In addition, the choirs ranked "Best in Class" in out-of-state contests in Dallas and San Antonio. The Women's Choirs were OMEA Honor Groups on three different occasions.
